FAQ
Hey, I can't find the registration page!
Registration for Spoilercon 2020 Online closed on September 25th. For logistics reasons we are unable to accept late registrations.
Can my children attend Spoilercon?
Spoilercon is an adults-only event. You must be at least 18 years old to participate in Spoilercon.
I registered for Spoilercon 2020 back when I thought it was going to be in Portland. Will I need to register again for 2021
If you asked for a refund of your registration fees for 2020, then yes, you will need to register again. Everyone else who registered and rolled their fees over to 2021 has been pre-registered for that event. We may ask you for additional information, but you will not need to re-register, and if the registration fees for 2021 go up you will not have to pay the difference.
Did you record events from Spoilercon 2020 Online?
Yes! Initially these will only be available to Spoilercon 2020 Online attendees, but eventually the recordings will be available to the general public on YouTube
Do you have anything I can watch to get excited about Spoilercon?
Check out the Kramer and Reading interview and other videos that are posted on the public Spoilercon YouTube Channel. You can also see photos from our past in-person cons on the Visions of the Cons past page.
Can I get a refund on my registration donation?
We are not offering refunds on any registration fees or donations.
I forgot to donate to Books to Prisoners when I registered, or I would like to donate without registering. Can I donate now?
Sure you can! Thanks for your donation to this great cause, championed by Michael Kramer and Kate Reading. Head over to our Donation page!
Why did you cancel Spoilercon 2020?
The planning committee reviewed several criteria to determine whether it would be safe to offer an event in Portland Oregon in October. Social and cultural events are currently capped at 25 people, and thus a physical event would not be possible. We hope to return to Portland for our 2021 event.
Will there be Spoilercon 2021?
Absolutely! In fact, we are already working with our venue to plan for an in-person event in Portland in the fall of 2021.
Do you have dates for 2021?
We announced the dates at the end of Spoilercon 2020 Online: Spoilercon 2021 will be held Oct 1-3 in Portland Oregon!
Is this basically JordanCon on the west coast?
No. This is an event that celebrates Fox and Raven Media and, in particular, the WoT Spoilers Podcast and its fan community. While we will have lots of great events, opportunities to meet virtually and chat with awesome people, and discussions of all things Wheel of Time, our event is much smaller than Jordancon, and not as broad in scope. All fans of the Wheel of Time are welcome to register and attend, however.
